Harry’s Dinosaur Adventure…

HTI Toys sent Harry a selection of their newly launched Dinosaur range for him to have a little play with and let you know what he thought!

He was lucky enough to be sent a little selection of things to really get stuck into some dinosaur play as he is a huge dinosaur fan! So much so, I am planning on doing a dinosaur feature in his bedroom soon! We were sent a couple of hatching dinosaur eggs, some model play dinosaurs and a dinosaur excavation dig which resulted in a dinosaur skeleton statue to keep.

If you have a dinosaur fan these items may be a big hit in your household and all are super reasonable priced at under £9.99, the amazing digging ones were only £4.99!

Straight away harry wanted to get stuck into putting his Dino eggs into water so they could begin to hatch, as this can take up to 2 days. He plunged them into the water so well though, that this only took around 12-18 hours for each one, so he didn’t have long to wait at all. These are great little ‘stocking filler’ type gifts at only £2.99.

As soon as he had submerged those, in typical child fashion he was on to the next thing! We pulled out our tuff tray (basically cement mixing trays £4.99 off eBay!) which are super handy for any messy play or water play as help to keep everything contained and are easy to clean- just not so great to store! Harry got out his Dino World Dig and Discover and set straight to work with his little chisel and hammer, chipping away until he began unearthing little dinosaur bones.

The squeals of excitement each time he found one was really sweet. By the end of his excavating he had unearthed a Triceratops skeleton, which when assembled together makes a lovely size, a sits not too small. harry is now super proud and has it pride of place in his bedroom to tell his friends how he dug it out!

Again I think this is a super reasonable priced children’s toy, that keeps them entertained for a good hour, using motor skills and away from screen time which is always a bonus in our house, and only £4.99. We will defiantly be purchasing some of the other kits for the summer holidays, as Harry wants to collect the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus and the Brontosaurus.

*Disclosure: We were sent this Dinosaur Collection for the purpose of this review from HTI Toys. All views are my own and Harry’s. Thank you @carouselpr

My little one is starting to get into dinosaurs – which is dad is really pleased by. He might be a bit too young for this but I’m up for stretching him in the bid to find the ultimate activity that keeps him busy for longest 😂

I have a dinosaur-obsessed three year old and these look great. We’ve had the hatching eggs before and he gets so excited about them. Great post, thank you!
