Care Bear Care Package Review…

We were kindly sent a Care Bear care pack from the lovely folk at Carebears, to share our thoughts and experiences with you.

The Care Bear Box arrived full to the brim of little treats not just for the children but for me too which was a lovely treat!

For us parents- there was some fluffy socks, a yankee candle with glass votive, and a mug with a selection of Tea and Hot Chocolate, along with a facemask. They were all yellow themed to match in with the yellow baby Care bear sent in the package which was exceptionally fluffy and soft! Alongside the baby bear was a large Blue Care bear and pack of their squishems range of mini figurine toy Care bears to entertain the children.

It was love at first site with both of the plush bears for Grace, although she has let Charlie ‘borrow’ the small bear a few times! The baby cubs plush (rrp £7.99) has the cutest belly badge pajamas on which makes him the perfect bedtime companion. I have a feeling Grace will have a bed full of these after Christmas as he really has been a hit, and as there are four to collect I think three more will be on her Christmas list!

The larger of the two bears is a medium sized plus (rrp £15.99) who is the perfect playtime companion as is large enough to be easy to find, and role play with, but not too big that he is impossible to carry around. He is lightweight enough that Grace who is 3 has no trouble at all carting him around for hours on end.

Grace spent hours playing with both bears on the day they arrived (and has spent many more hours since!) putting them to bed, reading them stories, role playing with them and most important of all, was having teddy bears picnics!

The Care Bear Squishems (rrp £14.99) were a hit with both Harry and Grace and were a handy small size that made them easy to take out and out about, making them the perfect toy to occupy and entertain them both when we went out for the day and they were getting a little bored.

The set consists of 8 figures which makes it easy for the children to share them out and role play episodes of the programme they had seen together, and as they are made for a fun squishy material, they don’t cause any upset or hurt when they are playing a little bit more boisterous and one gets thrown!!

Overall the entire Care bear collection we were sent went down extremely well. The adult treats combined with the toys for the children was a lovely idea. The individual Care Bear items all make fabulous gifts and ideal stocking fillers for Christmas. Now I just need to hunt down the three other Care Bear Cubs to make one little ladies Christmas wishes come true!

These Care Bears and Squishems sets are available from ASDA, Tesco, Amazon and Debenhams
