Our holiday superstars- Slipfree’s!

One of the only downsides to holiday swimming pools is how likely you and the kids are to slip over around them! Not with SlipFrees.

This is the first time we have tried this type and brand of non slip pool shoe and they were so good that I had to write a blog post about them to recommend them to fellow parents. We have tried a fair few swimming/ pool shoes as each summer the kids grow like weeds and need a new pair, they usually have rubber bottoms that make them a little clumpy and not very flexible so I normally have a battle getting the kids to keep them on.

SlipFree shoes are NOTHING like that! They have the slimmest soles that are completely bendable and along with the thin stretchy fabric upper, they end up like a second skin. The children had no idea they were even wearing them after two minutes of them being on.  There was one morning Harry got to the pool and was just a little too eager and forgot to put his Slipfrees on and instantly fell over at the pool edge. He then never wanted to take them off around the pool areas which was a huge bonus.

The soles are lovely and thin but they also provide so much protection for their little feet. They protected the childrens feet from the crazy hot concrete around the pool when they got out for a drink and snacks and were walking about, this also worked the same on the scorching sand on the beach. The sand had a few areas where it felt a little sharp barefoot so again they were a saviour, and they also prevent any nasty bugs such as verrucas.

They are £14.95 a pair, but if you sign up for the newsletter you get 10% off your first order, or I have the code BUX10 if you need another code. They also cover a two sizes for example size 5-7 as they are stretchy and soft they fit both sizes so you will get a good amount of use out of them.  The range of cool fabric designs means there is something that will please any little one and they even do adult sizes, so that you can match with your mini me.

Hand on Heart these were without doubt the best holiday purchase we made. We even took a little break center parcs at christmas and used these in the waterpark and again were fabulous!
