If you are on the lookout for a new changing bag, or have a toddler and fancy a change, then the SkipHop website is definitely worth a look!
I have been sent the Greenwich Convertible Hip Pack (which I am in love with!) and the Curve Satchel Changing bag to trial and share with you my thoughts.
On first opening the package I wasn’t sure how useful the Greenwich Hip pack would be to me as could not envisage fitting much in when I am used to carting around so much for three little ones. This is where I have to hold up my hands and say how wrong I was!! There are so many times when we are just ‘nipping’ out or even when you need to leave all your things in the car as you don’t want to lug around a whole changing bag but need to just carry along the bare essentials with you- this is where this bag comes into its own.
For example, we visited the beach and it was just super easy to have around my waist with a bit of money in it, some tissues, wipes and 1 x nappy so that if he decided to fill his nappy we wouldn’t be caught short but walking along the beach I didn’t need to take a whole bag with me. Especially when Charlie kept getting a little tired and needed to be carried, it was easy only carrying a small bag.
I really love that there are a number of ways to carry it to suit what you need it for. This includes carrying like a normal shoulder bag, an across the body bag and the strap even shortens right up so you can wear it around your waist like bumbag. Its filled with a number of pockets, including some card slots so you don’t even need to take your purse out.
I have to admit I’ve started wearing it on the days I don’t even have the children, so using it as a normal handbag as its just super easy and looks lovely. I genuinely think this is going to be one of those super useful little bags that will get worn out with excessive use! I love it!
The Curve bag is sold exclusively in Mothercare, so if you want to take a look there will be lots of information on the Mothercare website also. The Curve bag is along the lines of your traditional baby changing bag and has every feature you will need. This includes plenty of pockets, a removable changing mat, a side insulated pocket perfect for handy storage of the baby bottles and food, and it also has a short strap that doubles up as a pram strap and hooks over your handles or bar of your pram making it easy to use when out and about. The wipe clean fabric is ideal for keeping it clean, and the navy, tan and gold colours make it look really stylish. Overall a really lovely changing bag with loads of room. If you fancy taking a look I have linked both the SkipHop website, Amazon and Mothercare for you to find more information.
