Good lighting normally comes at a big cost. That was until I found out about Iconic Lights, they have a huge range of lighting at super affordable prices making them so competitive in the lighting and interiors market.
They literally stock every type of lighting you could need for your home and garden, be it wall lights, shades, lamps, festoon lights, mood lighting, the list is endless!
We were sent a little selection of their products to put to the test and wanted to share with you what we thought and how we got on.
We were sent a light shade for Grace’s bedroom, which is of course covered in Unicorns! But best of all it is really tasteful for mythical creatures, it is made with the most gorgeous print fabric with really rich colours that will compliment her bedroom beautifully when we finish redecorating it. It comes with two separate shade discs for the top and bottom of the shade and the fabric shade is pre fitted with a velcro all around the centre for easy self assembly. This prevents it getting damaged in transit and lowers postage and the packaging costs as the box it arrives in is so much smaller, therefore enabling them to pass the savings on to us. This shade was only £15.
We were also sent a three shade light fitting for the play room which was made up the same way with the three shades, again super easy to assemble, and the this had a silver base fitting that sat flush onto the ceiling. This was a real bargain and retails at only: £38
My absolute favourite item of all though had to be this tripod lamp. It’s a beautiful grey shade, but there are lots of other options for colours and the legs are all adjustable.
Meaning you can have it anywhere between side table height all the way up to a normal standing lamp height which is how we have it. The cable is really long with a stand press switch making it easy to turn on and off.
It’s a beautiful quality item that you would expect to find in a fancy department store but from iconic it is a fraction of the price at only: £78
We were also sent some festoon lighting for the decking area, so that we could make a lovely cosy area, meaning we could continue to use the deck at night with some beautiful ambient lighting. These are quality outdoor lights so you don’t need to worry about them being outdoors and getting wet. They were easy to hang and really finish the seating area off so we are really pleased. They also only cost £10 so were a real bargain. Obviously I was a rubbish blogger though and forgot to take a photo whilst they were out in the summer, but Grace fell in love with them and now has some under her bed too!!
If you are on the lookout for any new lights, or light fittings I would definitely check out the Iconic website, especially if you are on a budget as you won’t be disappointed on price.
